PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The proposed improvements consist of widening 7.1 miles of SH 114 from International Parkway to Riverside Drive located within the cities of Irving and Grapevine, Dallas and Tarrant Counties, Texas. The design changes include widening from east of Rochelle Boulevard to State Spur 348 from 4 to 6 general purpose lanes and reconstructing the 2 concurrent managed lanes. The proposed design changes to this project from State Spur 348 to International Parkway would include widening from 6 to 8 general purpose lanes and reconstructing 2 concurrent managed lanes from State Spur 348 to SH 161 and constructing 2 concurrent managed lanes from SH 161 to International Parkway. The project would also reconstruct/widen the existing 4/6 to 4/8 continuous frontage roads from east of Rochelle Boulevard to Beltline Road and from Esters Road to Freeport Parkway and reconstruct/widen existing 2 lane frontage road from Beltline Road to Esters Road. The project would include a 10-foot wide shared use path on both sides of SH 114 for bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.

RIGHT OF WAY (ROW) INFORMATION
The proposed improvements would require additional ROW. No residential or non-residential displacements are anticipated.
