In accordance with Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, § 25.55(b), the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) – Dallas and Fort Worth Districts are partnering with North Central Texas Council of Government (NCTCOG) to offer a public hearing on district transportation programs and policies affecting bicycle use on the state highway system.


The virtual public meeting will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 beginning at 4pm and will be available through Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:59pm.

**Please Note:  This is not a live event.  The public hearing consists of prerecorded video presentations and materials that can be viewed at your convenience.


The purpose of the public hearing is to provide information on the bicycle plans, policies, and programs for the TxDOT Dallas and Fort Worth Districts and NCTCOG, and to receive public comment. Attendees will be able to learn about proposed projects and provide input.  Pre-recorded video presentations will include both audio and visual components.  Additional materials, including written transcripts of the presentations, exhibits and supporting documents will also be available.

Special Accommodations:

The virtual public hearing will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the virtual public hearing, please contact the appropriate TxDOT contact in your area (see below) no later than 4 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2021. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
