Where and When:
A virtual public meeting will be held at www.annatexas.gov/ferguson. The virtual meeting is not a live event and can be viewed at any time beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 and will remain available online through 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
An in-person public meeting will be held in an open house format where the public may come and go at their convenience. The in-person meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at City of Anna Municipal Complex, 120 West 7th Street, Anna, TX 75409.
Materials presented at the virtual public meeting and in-person public meetings will be identical.
All comments must be received on or before March 21, 2024.
Description:
The proposed improvements are to construct Ferguson Parkway along its existing location and extend its limits on a new location route from Elm Street to the Collin County Outer Loop within the City of Anna as a four-lane divided urban roadway (six-lane ultimate). Urban paving, facilities for pedestrians and bicyclists, hydrology and hydraulics for crossing culverts, a new bridge crossing of Slayter Creek, and connections with local side streets would be involved in this approximately 1.5-mile design.
