PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The proposed project includes the realignment and widening of FM 428 from Dallas Parkway to SH 289 (Preston Road) within the City of Celina in Collin County, a distance of approximately 1.8 miles. The proposed improvements would consist of four 12-foot wide lanes (ultimate six) with an 18-foot wide raised median, and 10-foot wide shared use paths along both sides of the road within variable right of way ranging from 138 to 348 feet. The project would include an overpass over the BNSF railroad tracks.

SCHEMATICS
RIGHT OF WAY (ROW) INFORMATION
The existing ROW typically ranges from 90 feet to 120 feet. The proposed ROW typically ranges from 138 feet to 348 feet. The proposed improvements would require additional ROW.
