Proposed Improvements to I-20 from Duncanville Rd. to Hampton Rd. - Public Meeting

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing improvements to I-20 from Duncanville Rd. to Hampton Rd. in Dallas County, Texas, a distance of 3.3 miles. The proposed improvements would add frontage road segments along the interstate where none currently exist to provide continuous one-way frontage roads (two lanes in each direction). Intersection, ramp and main lane improvements would also be considered to accommodate the addition of frontage roads.
TxDOT is considering significant changes to ramping and access in the vicinity of Redbird Mall/Southwest Center Mall, at the intersection of US 67 and I-20. TxDOT will conduct a public meeting to discuss changes specific to this area and receive public comments on the proposed improvements. The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m in an open house format with no formal presentation. The meeting will be held at the Redbird Mall/Southwest Center Mall Atrium, located at 3662 W. Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas, Texas 75237. Representatives from TxDOT and project consultants will be available to answer questions about the proposed project improvements.
