Notice of Public Meeting for US 380 from County Road 560 to County Road 699 (Hunt County Line), south of Farmersville; Collin County

Where and When:

A virtual public meeting will be held at www.keepitmovingdallas.com/US380Farmersville. The virtual meeting is not a live event and can be viewed at any time beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 and will remain available online through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022.

An in-person public meeting will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Farmersville Campus of Collin College, 501 S. Collin Parkway, Farmersville, TX  75442. 

Materials presented at the virtual public meeting and in-person public meeting will be identical.

All comments must be received on or before May 13, 2022.

Description:

The proposed project includes a new location realignment of US 380 from CR 560 to CR 699 (Hunt County Line), south of the City of Farmersville in Collin County for a distance of approximately 7.6 miles.  The new location facility would be constructed as a six-lane divided roadway with 12-foot wide lanes that includes an as-needed additional auxiliary lane and 10-foot wide shoulders.  The proposed project would also include continuous, one-way frontage roads with two 12-foot wide lanes and a 10-foot wide shared use path on both sides of the roadway.  The existing US 380 roadway would remain.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
