FM 3286 / FM 546 - Notice of Virtual Public Meeting with In-Person Option

Where and When
A virtual public meeting will be held at https://www.keepitmovingdallas.com/projects/fm-roads/fm3286. The virtual meeting is not a live event and can be viewed at any time beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, at 5 p.m. and will remain online for at least 15 days.
An in-person public hearing will be held in an open house format where the public may come and go at their convenience. The in-person option will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Southfork Ranch, 3700 Hogge, Parker, Texas, 75002. Materials presented at the virtual public hearing and in-person public hearing will be identical.
All comments must be received on or before Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026.
Purpose
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input and provide information.
Description
The proposed project includes the reconstructing of and widening of FM 3286/East Lucas Road from FM 1378 to FM 546/County Road (CR) 437 approximately 3.9 miles long and FM 546 from FM 546/CR 437 to FM 982 approximately 0.8 miles long. The proposed project would reconstruct the existing two-lane roadway to a four (ultimate six) lane divided roadway with curb and gutter and raised median. A continuous 10-foot-wide shared-use path would be constructed on both sides of the roadway.

The virtual public meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrange.
