Description
The project proposes a 12-ft-wide concrete trail along most of the approximately 2.3 mile corridor between FM 875 and Getzendaner Park. The frontage road beneath I 35 E would also be reconstructed to accommodate one approximate 12.5-ft wide lane, a 2-ft wide safety barrier and a 10-ft wide trail. A 12-ft-wide pedestrian bridge is proposed over Waxahachie Creek near the eastern end of the project. To accommodate potential minor alignment shifts, the environmental study area includes a conservative proposed right-of-way (ROW) width varying from approximately 50 to approximately 425 ft.
Accessibility
The virtual public meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs.
