PROJECT DESCRIPTION

TxDOT is proposing a new location realignment of US 380 from CR 560 to CR 699 (Hunt County Line), south of the City of Farmersville in Collin County for a distance of approximately 7.6 miles. The existing US 380 roadway would remain.

The proposed new location realignment facility would be constructed as a controlled-access freeway consisting of a six-lane divided roadway (three lanes in each direction separated by a median) and continuous two to 3-lane one-way frontage roads and a shared-use path on both sides of the roadway. Auxiliary lanes and entrance/exit ramps would be provided where needed. The proposed right-of-way would be approximately 270-542 feet wide. The total proposed right-of-way acreage is estimated at 364 acres.
